I first thought about it for my Girl Scout Silver Award Project.  Then, my ideas grew and expanded until it ended at this website-blog idea.  I hope you enjoy it!

My name is Madison.  My house burnt down in the Tea Fire of 2007.  I was six.  I know what it feels like to lose, what seems like “everything”.  You can ask me, “maddysunshine”, anything you would like on this blog.

After a fire, everyone’s lost hope and are feeling bad.  Especially us kids.  From that hopelessness, a smile, a friend, some nice support, can do a lot of things.  It can bring hope, joy, and happiness from those awful times.  This is what I hope to accomplish on this blog, so help and support each other.  Give someone a nice word of support on their bad days, and they might do the same to you on your bad days.
